Benny is Now Creative Director!

After being with us for over half a decade (!!!) and blowing us away with his work every. single. year. - the time has come for Benny to become Creative Director.

Up until now, Benny has been Associate Creative Director - now, in this newly created role, he will take on overall responsibility for creative output on the Supercell account. Over the last five years he's produced numerous successful campaigns for them, and we trust him to keep doing just that.

"I've worked closely with Supercell for almost five years, and it's never felt more exciting than right now. We've delivered some outstanding, award-winning work with our awesome team here at Waste, and as Creative Director I want to keep that going, while pushing our creative offering into some new and exciting avenues. Perhaps now more than ever, community feels essential, so working with Supercell's huge global communities of engaged players makes me really excited for what we can achieve in 2021."

- Benny Bentham, Creative Director

Intrigued? Check out some of our work for Supercell, such as our multi award-winning project for Clash of Clans, where we created the world's first live motion capture game show. Or perhaps our epic community fan art challenge, Brawlimation, where we got the Brawlstars community to help create a frame-by-frame animation. (Also award-winning.)

Benny will lead activity supporting established Supercell games including Clash of Clans, Boom Beach and Brawl Stars, with a focus on growing and retaining communities by creating highly engaging content.

“The content Benny has already created for Supercell over the last five years has captured the attention of tens of millions of their players worldwide, so this promotion couldn’t be more well deserved. It’s fantastic to see him stepping up to this new position and we can’t wait to see what he delivers next.”

- Alistair Campbell, Executive Creative Director
